Apple disowns the iPhone 7 fragility problem bright black
We already knew that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in its Jet Black or Black Glossy version is the buyers' favorite . But in addition, according to numerous posts found in Apple support forums, they are also the ones that present more problems given their fragility and Apple's response to this problem is not satisfying anyone .
And that shiny surface seems to be much more sensitive to blows and touches, especially on its edges, even getting rid of its coating simply by rubbing the daily use, something that pisses a lot to their owners .
A problem similar to that found at the time in the iPhone 5 black when it was released. Specifically, the model that has more complaints is the iPhone 7 Plus, because you know, the more you are, the more likely you will hit it with more sites and suffer further deterioration. In addition, Apple does not appear to be satisfying its customers as to repairs or replacements of affected devices , referring to it as a slight cosmetic impact.
A user writes:
I BOUGHT MY IPHONE 7 PLUS AND AFTER THREE WEEKS THE PAINT STARTS TO CRACK AND PEEL CLOSE TO THE RIGHT SPEAKER. I HAVE CONTACTED APPLE AND AFTER SENDING SOME PICTURES, I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY AS IT IS A COSMETIC DAMAGE.
But this is no exception, it spreads like a plague. Another user reports:
THE PAINT IS STARTING TO STING IN THE SPEAKER AREA, WHICH IS VERY DISAPPOINTING COMING FROM APPLE. I'VE NEVER BEEN DROPPED OR BEATEN.
And it goes beyond, as it not only affects the edges, also the back, near the logo of the apple and the buttons where they also suffer:
I ALSO HAVE THOSE PROBLEMS WITH MY IPHONE 7 PLUS, HAS BEGUN TO BITE BY THE BACK, WHERE THE LOGO DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF USE AND IN THE SECOND THE PIKES CAME TO THE SPEAKER AND THE VOLUME
Other users claim that they have been able to solve these faults using acrylic-based paint purchased from hardware stores, but that is a measure that does not protect the entire device, not to mention the madness that constitutes painting a new iPhone. The protective films also do not seem to be a good solution .
Given the amount of complaints they are receiving, Apple should not take it as an isolated and unimportant problem and start taking action , especially in the face of future iPhone.
