Taiwan, the next country to receive Apple Pay

Apple has already announced that Apple Pay will be available in Taiwan very soon. All information can be viewed on the website of this service, which we leave here .

Which banks will be compatible with Apple Pay in Taiwan?

It will support a total of seven banks, including Cathay United Bank, Banco CTBC, E. Sun Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, Taishin International Bank and Union Bank of Taiwan. Cupertino do not offer much more, except to say that this form of payment in Taiwan  have all the features such as point cards and web payment.
Taiwan will become the 14th country to access Apple Pay after countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, China, France, Russia, Switzerland, New Zealand, Spain, Singapore and Japan.
During the first financial quarter of 2017 Apple, Tim Cook said Apple Pay had increased the number of its records and transaction volume over 500% increase over the previous year year. This form of payment on the web is having great results said Cook, and now almost two million small businesses now accept this online payment system. Thanks in part to Apple's seeming to be counting on third-party help.
On Monday it launched a partnership with Square that will allow companies to save up to $ 350 in transaction fees, provided they establish a reader compatible with Apple Pay.
This payment method is very safe, as no any card information is shared. In some countries you do not even need to enter the PIN, while in others from a certain amount you will always ask for it. For example , in Spain it is normal that from 20 € PIN is requested , while in Australia, if the transaction amount exceeds 100 AUD code will be requested.
I continue to wait for more banks in Spain to approve this method of payment. What about you?
