Apple shows support for LGBT in different US cities

This weekend was the day of gay pride organized by LGTB collective in many cities around the world and Apple wanted to be present in some of them. The company's own CEO, Tim Cook, wanted from his Twitter account a happy Pride day to his employees and customers while confirming Apple's presence in New York, San Francisco and Toronto.
As we will see in the article, this is not the first time since Cupertino wants to support LGTB organizations nor is this the only social commitment that Apple has.

Happy  to all our employees, their families and customers around the world! Today we're showing  in SF, NYC and Toronto

Gifts and details for participants

Apple has decided to participate actively in these events celebrated on the occasion of Gay Pride Day, and one of the initiatives that had the Cupertino was to distribute T-shirts among all attendees with the Apple logo and rainbow colors, symbol of the collective LGTB.
In the city of San Francisco (California), a mural was installed with the motto #applepride in which all those who attended the act could write messages and leave their memories related to the celebration.

Apple has always supported the collective LGTB

It is not the first time that Apple shows its support and its collaboration with the groups LGTB. Without going any further, the WWDC presented a strap for the Apple Watch on the occasion of Gay Pride Day  which, according to Apple, would serve to help different LGTB organizations. "Apple is proud to support LGBT advocacy organizations working to bring about positive change, including GLSEN, Human Rights Campaigns, PFLAG and the Trevor Project in the United States. And ILGA worldwide. A portion of the sales proceeds from the "Pride Edition" belt will benefit your significant efforts. "

Although every year Apple participates directly in celebrations on the occasion of Pride Day, in 2014 a video in the official YouTube account of Cupertino showed us how we work on such a special day for so many people, and how This company supports the LGBT groups.

Apple and its various solidarity projects

Many will know the "Product RED" campaign, with which Apple has been working with the fight against AIDS for ten years. How does this help? So, if you buy a product from the "Product RED" range, part of Apple's profits from that product will go towards the fight against AIDS. We see with this that Apple does not have a single social commitment and that the support to LGTB organizations and groups is just one more sample that this company has always been close to its customers and the people in general.

How did you like Apple's participation in different cities on the occasion of LGTB Pride Day? Let us know your opinion.
