How to test the first beta of iOS 11

Today iOS 11 has been introduced and in this article we tell you all the details on how to test the first beta of this new operating system in your terminal. So if you are an adventurer, stay because this post interests you.

Watch out! Beta may not be stable

The betas may not be too stable, since of course, is starting a new path in this operating system and that is why we do not recommend installing this beta if you are not a developer. If you do, we will not be responsible for what may happen in your terminal. Also, we recommend that you install this beta on a secondary terminal, to avoid losing information on your main terminal.

First of all, a backup

If you are going to make this backup, you must make a backup before performing this operation in your terminal. The steps to follow are as follows:
  1. Go to Settings from your iPhone or iPad
  2. Click on iCloud and then on Backup
  3. Choose Make backup now
After finishing the process you will see that the same screen shows when the last backup was made, which should be the day and time you are in. Now you can install iOS 11 quietly .

How to install beta if you are a developer

Just after the keynote Apple has already made available the first beta of iOS 11 . To download, you must be an Apple developer. You just have to go to the Apple Developer page and download it from the download section.

And if you're not a developer and want to install iOS 11 beta 1

Simply follow these steps:
  1. Go to the next link  from  your iPhone's Safari browser.
  2. Follow the steps that you mark your iPhone by accepting the certificate that you get on your iPhone, as it will ask for your code.
  3. Restart the iPhone.
  4. Once restarted go to Settings> General> Software Update. You will now get the first beta of iOS 11.

How to install iOS 11 beta without being a developer

The second option we have is to wait for the public beta . The truth is that this is the best option of all, since the public beta usually works much better than the first versions. The bad thing is that we have to wait until July to carry out this download.
Here are the steps to register for the public beta program :
  1. Go from Safari with an iPhone or iPad to the official page
  2. Press Sign Up and sign up with your Apple ID
  3. Once the public beta is available, the Download Profile button will appear
  4. Clicking on Download Profile will download a configuration profile to the device that will automatically download the beta
The last option is to be patient and wait for the final version to be released in September next to the iPhone 8.
