IOS 11 will allow us to better control the location that our apps use

Apple makes it clear that it is a company that looks after the security and privacy of users who own an apple device, a fact that we check with the new regime of access to our location by third-party applications.

What changes does this bring?

Currently, in iOS 10, there are certain applications such as the native ones that allow us to select when they access our location, if ever or when we are using the App, But, on the other hand, there are many applications of third parties that do not give us this option, but directly obliges us to disable the access to the location or have it always active, with the consequences that this entails.

This change, we assume, will please almost all users, since we will have the possibility to select that the application obtains our location only while we are using it and not always.

What improvement or consequences does this have?

The main consequence derived from this change that we will see with the naked eye will be the increase of the battery life, since to have applications that are constantly making use of the GPS to geolocate our location consumes battery, and much; Therefore, we can see a percentage increase in our battery life without having to resort to the drastic solution to disable the location for all Apps.
On the other hand, as we said at the beginning of the post, our privacy will be increased to a certain extent , since we will not have to share our location constantly with certain applications, a fact that for some will be a baladí theme but for others especially For techies, is a big step.

This will be the location options for apps on iOS 11

How to enable / disable location access

To disable or enable this feature, we will have to go to Settings . Once here, we will go to the tab where you put Privacy , then the first tab that appears, where you put Location ; Once here, we can completely deactivate access to our location or, on the contrary, disable the applications we create.
We recommend the second option, since we have an iPhone we will enjoy it.
Yes we recommend deactivating those in which you are forced to choose between never or always, since having them active can degrade your battery performance.
