This Star Wars trailer on a 1984 Mac is the best thing you'll see today

Sometimes, reality surpasses fiction. And other times, as on this special occasion, technology and fiction surpass reality.
If Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the last movie in the series, was a retro video game, it would look a lot like what you're about to see with your own eyes.
An Indonesian illustrator named Wahyu Ichwandardi has stunned millions of users after making his own remake of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer using ONLY an Apple Mac from 1984. The result? Spectacular.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Pixels Be With You

Can you imagine King, Kylo Ren or Luke Skywalker drawn in 8-bit images? It is, curiously, almost more endearing than the original trailer. Well, at least for us ...
To create this retro Star Wars trailer, Wahyu Ichwandardi saved a collection of 288 images on 48 floppy disks (does anyone remember the floppy disks?) Using a KoalaPad + and a Mac from 1984. Among all the images, he stored a total of ... Come curves ... 6 MB!
This is the original trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
And this is the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi created on a 1984 Mac:
It's incredibly similar to the original trailer, is not it? This work must have taken a lot of effort on the part of the Indonesian illustrator ...
In fact, the illustrator had to draw each image by hand by tracing the images from above the monitor itself with a transparent plastic paper, as a reference to draw each frame of the trailer. A commendable work. The technology is wonderful, right?
What did you think of the retro trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi? Do you like it more than the original?
