Will Apple implement the Touch ID feature on the iPhone 8 power button?

For months now, a rumor has been circulating around the net that Apple was having a lot of problems integrating the fingerprint sensor into the OLED screen of the iPhone 8. If true, the apple bite company would have to look for alternatives, And has them.
Apple could include the Touch ID feature on the OLED screen , the back of the terminal, and even a Touch Bar embedded in the front of the iPhone 8. However, there is still a fourth possibility ...
At least this is suggested by a new Apple patent. It has a very long title that reads as follows: "Biometric fingerprint sensor assembly including interface binding and other related methods". In other words, the patent indicates how the Touch ID function could be integrated into the iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone Edition or iPhone Anniversary on / off button .

The new iPhone would already have gone into mass production

The patent describes how the outer layer of the iPhone 8's on / off button would be made from a thin piece of crystal or sapphire . A material that would allow interaction between software, hardware and fingerprints.

We do not know if Apple will have used the technology behind this patent for the development of its next-gen smartphones. These types of patents have to be taken with caution, since many of them do not come to fruition.
Be that as it may, it is rumored that the iPhone 7s, the iPhone 7s Plus and the iPhone of the 10th anniversary would have already entered mass production .
Of course, Apple must have several prototypes of iPhone 8 . We are sure that the Cupertino firm developed a prototype with the Touch ID feature on the back cover of the device, but they know full well that users would not be satisfied with that decision. What do you think?
