Tim Cook bets on education in conversation with Donald Trump

Tim Cook has recently spoken about his views on education and now the White House is contacting him for advice. According to a new Bloomberg report, Tim Cook and Steve Jobs' widow Laurene Powell are among those most likely to go to the White House for help with STEM funds, among others.
This report explains that Ivanka Trump is aware of the efforts of both Powell and Cook to advise on the financing of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in public schools in the United States. The president's daughter, along with Reed Cordish, the president's special assistant to technology initiatives, held a telephone conversation Wednesday with politicians, educators and CEOs to discuss education and funding.
"Other participants in the call, about an hour long, include CEO Lockheed Martin Marillyn Hewson; CEO of Accenture North America Julie Sweet, Microsoft President, Brad Smith; Governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson and representatives of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Stanford, MIT and Broward County, Florida, Schools. "
At this point, the effort by the Trump administration is still in its infancy. The specific details, as well as the time and funds earmarked have not yet been decided, but the administration plans to conduct an open dialogue with the leaders mentioned above.

The Apple CEO has been a strong advocate of programming in teaching with young children, so it will require a course very similar to foreign languages. With Cook, he now has a direct track on education efforts with the White House. Cook, spoke during this last month during a panel discussion with President Trump, leaving the following statements:
"Second, unrelated, it's something I'm very passionate about: programming should be a requirement in all public schools. We have a huge deficit in the skills we have today, compared to the skills that are there, and we are trying to do our part or, hopefully, more of our part in doing that. But I think the leadership of the government is also key. "
It seems that one of the efforts in which the CEO of Apple is making great efforts is to bring education to programming and imagine that through the iPad and its current " Swift Playgounds " app , which is having great success among users Which are initiated in this language.
How would you think that, in Spain, programming from the primary school (up to 12 years) was established as a subject?
