Apple is losing the battle in China and this graph shows it

Neither Apple, nor Samsung. The two most important companies in the mobile phone industry have failed to dominate the smartphone market in China .
We have mentioned it several times, China is a key point for Apple and its products. Tim Cook has visited the country on numerous occasions and the company has tried to boost marketing with all sorts of strategies . Even so, Apple continues to lose its battle in China.
If we recently shared an analysis of the economic superiority of Apple against Google and Microsoft, today we do the same with a statistical graph showing the percentage of smartphone sales of the major smartphone companies in China.

Which company sells the most smartphones in China?

The smartphone market leaders in China are Huawei, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi . Apple and Samsung remain in the background with only 8.2% and 3% of market share, respectively.
Huawei dominates the market , from 2016 to the second quarter of 2017, with a current market share of 20.2% . Oppo follows closely, with 18.8% of sales.
Meanwhile, Vivo has been responsible for 17% of smartphone sales in China, while Xiaomi continues to outperform Apple with 13% of the market share.
Samsung's reputation in China has been badly damaged following the Galaxy 7 fiasco . Its new Galaxy S8 handsets, despite their spectacular design, have failed to convince consumers.

We do not know exactly what is stopping Apple's growth in China. It is true that Android and its devices usually dominate the market in most countries , except in the United States, but it is not usually for such an abysmal difference. What do you think might be due? Will Apple dominate the Chinese market someday?
