Apple would opt for a 6-inch LCD screen for the iPhone 2018

Apple's bid for OLED screens this year, made us think that this would be the way forward for its next mobile. However, a new rumor from the Asian media The Korea Herald says that Apple will focus on a larger screen and LCD for one of its next devices.
To go beyond this possibility, it is unknown whether this is an additional offer to other models - 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches - that are presumed or if these will not be part of the 2018 line.

OLED or LCD Screens for the iPhone 2018?

Since May, we have known clues about what Apple would bring us for 2018. These, rather, aimed at two devices that would come in OLED screen sizes of 5.28 inches and 6.46 inches. A later ETNews report suggested that Apple had abandoned the small size of 5.28 inches and focused on 5.85-inch and 6.46-inch models.
If true, then Apple would be presenting in 2018 a OLED model of 5.8 inches, OLED model of 6.46 inches "Plus" and at least an LCD model of at least 6 inches. Of course, the decision to abandon the smaller model is due to the low commercialization of this type of presentations.
In this regard, other media have stated that Apple had initially given panel orders to Samsung Display, its sole OLED supplier, to launch three OLED iPhones in 2018 - models of 5.28, 5.85 and 6.46 inches - but the report says development work for the 5.28-inch model has recently been suspended, while the other two continue.
Everything indicates that Apple will bet on giant-screen models, and that eventually the transition to a line of OLED screens will materialize in 2019.
