First photos in portrait mode of an iPhone 8 Plus

Today you can now buy the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, and professional photographers have already published some photos taken with the new phone , the results are spectacular. The improvements Apple has been making in their cameras for a long time.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have virtually the same camera as their predecessors, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, respectively. But it has put the update in a new image processing thanks to the A11 Bionic chip , a major improvement over the A10 Fusion of the iPhone 7.
With the A11, the phones can find the focus faster, and are capable of recording higher quality video ; are now capable of 4K of video at 60 fps, and slow motion mode doubles the frame rate at 240 fps to 1080p.
The A11 chip is also behind a new fantasy trick on the iPhone 8 Plus. For the portrait mode bokeh background , the dual cameras of the iPhone 8 Plus go beyond , lighting has been added in Apple portrait mode . It processes the image taken to allow some fake (but convincing) studio lighting effects, including lighting the model's face more dramatically.
If you want to see the results, these are some of the great photographs made in Singapore by professional photographers .

The contour lighting is quite dramatic , highlighting the subject's nose and cheekbones, with shadows cast around the chin area. Franz Navarrete explains: "I used the contour to thin the cheekbones and the line of the jaw of my subject, the bokeh separated my subject from the bottom ".

What do you think of the new portrait mode of the iPhone 8 Plus? Is it worth the change compared to the iPhone 7 Plus? We look forward to your comments.
