iOS 11 GM unveils information on Apple Pay, the A11 chip, the RAM and the wireless charge of the iPhone X

This weekend has been marked by the leak of the Golden Master iOS 11 , which has revealed a huge amount of information on the new iPhones that Apple will present tomorrow.
As developers have been studying the software code, they have been discovering more and more details of the iPhone X , iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus . Today we bring you information concerning things like the A11 processor that will be included in the three new iPhones or how Apple Pay with Face ID will work and how much RAM will have the three terminals. In addition, wireless charging is also confirmed.

Apple Pay + Face ID

There have been many rumors that have indicated that the new iPhone OLED Apple will not have Touch ID, and that the fingerprint sensor will be replaced by a new 3D facial recognition system , which we have known these days, will be called Face ID .
Many have wondered how Apple Pay will work with this new authentication system, and now the developer Jeffrey Grossman has made a discovery that gives us some clues on this topic.

IPhone X will apparently support payments using facial recognition, and confirmation of payment will be done by double-clicking the on / off button.
Interestingly, in the iOS 11 code Face ID references have been found not only for the iPhone but also for the iPad and iPod touch, suggesting that Apple may include this feature in future models of both devices.

Chip A11 Fusion

The new A11 Fusion chip that will be included in the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is a 4 + 2-core processor , developer Steve Troughton-Smith has discovered. It appears that two of the cores are high efficiency, and the other four, high performance. This is a similar arrangement to the A10 Fusion chip of the iPhone 7, which included four cores, two high performance, and two high efficiency.

More evidence of wireless charging

According to has discovered the developer Guilherme Rambo, in iOS 11 GM there are references to the wireless charge of the new iPhones. The software does not include many details about how the new charging system will work, but rumors suggest that Apple will use an inductive charging method, similar to Apple Watch .

It is believed that Apple's wireless charging will use the Qi standard , and we will need an accessory. It is believed that the company will allow third-party charging bases, although these will need to be certified "Made for iPhone" . Rumors indicate that the wireless load of the new iPhone is limited to 7.5 W .

RAM for iPhone X and iPhone 8/8 Plus

Another Steve Troughton-Smith discovery refers to the RAM that the new iPhones will have: it appears that both the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus will have 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone 8 will have 2GB of RAM .
This information is in line with information provided by Min-Chi Kuo in July, which then said that the two older iPhones would have 3 GB of RAM, while the 4.7-inch would continue to offer 2 GB of RAM.
Currently, the iPhone 7 Plus already has 3 GB of RAM, while the iPhone 7 has 2 GB. This is because the 5.5-inch model has dual camera, so it needs more RAM. Both the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X will have dual cameras, so it is logical that, once again, they have more RAM than the smaller model, which has only one camera.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12, Apple will introduce their new iPhones at the Steve Jobs Theater , and then we will have much more information on iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

As always, in iPhoneA2 we will be very attentive to everything that happens during the keynote, and we will inform you punctually everything, in real time. We hope you do not miss the appointment.
