No, the Government will not be able to control you by Face ID on the iPhone X

There are many doubts about the new facial recognition Apple, Face ID for iPhone X . Although Apple tried to convince us of all the benefits of the new security system, there are certain conspiracies about using it.
Face ID will not be registered on any server in the cloud , it will always be physically on the iPhone X. Just like you did not share your fingerprint with third parties or with Apple itself.
But this does not seem to convince lovers of conspiracy , where they believe that this system violates the right to privacy of the users themselves. One of the theories is that the Government can control the users in case of any serious incident.

Many home appliances spy on us

It is true that many electronic devices spy on us thanks to the advanced technology they incorporate to make our lives easier. For example, give orders to our Smart TV to change a channel or lower the volume. A microphone that is permanently on is required to follow orders.
The case of televisions Samsung was very sound, where even the Korean brand itself included it in terms and conditions of use (which virtually nobody reads). These televisions made random recordings and shared them with third parties.
In addition to televisions, we have found many smartphones that "gave away" in certain promotions where basically they collected all series of data without our permission.

IPhone X can not share your face

Thanks to the GPS positioning and the new infrared camera iPhone X . Many wonder if it is possible for the Government to control us to follow in our footsteps in case of being a suspect of some vandalic or criminal act.
This theory resurfaces of the capacity that the new technologies have to know everything of us . Where a smartphone collects a lot of information that could be useful to solve complicated cases or even anticipate an attack.
Faced with such concern, Apple made it quite clear. All information collected on our faces, will be stored encrypted in our iPhone . Without anyone having remote access.
If a thief takes over our phone and contacts a cybercriminals to extract information, it will be really difficult thanks to the degree of encryption that Apple has designed to have all the information as safe as possible.
In this case, the iPhone X will be watching you permanently when you use it, but that information will not be shared with governments or with third parties to maintain security.

Not the same with Siri

Siri will be better integrated with many applications of our devices.
Everything we asked Siri, it is stored on Apple servers . This information, Apple says it serves to analyze the quality of service and thus improve it.
The maximum storage time is 2 years , although some random questions could stay longer. Apple says that it is always anonymous and that they will never store or collect sensitive information for the user, such as emails or apple identifiers.
This information was shared by Apple itself a few years ago, where spokesman  Tracy Muller confirmed it openly after being asked by privacy advocacy groups in the United States.
Although the iPhone X can not share our face with governments nor does it provide our position to third parties (except installed apps), the truth is that any electronic equipment could be violated .
IPhone phones with iOS without jailbreak, are very safe equipment , but it will be very difficult to know if our terminal has been violated by third parties.
