The 3D Touch gesture to open the list of Apps used recently will return in a future update of iOS 11

Due to a technical problem, Apple has been forced to disable a 3D Touch gesture on iOS 11 that allowed to display the list of recently opened Apps, the so- called multitasking mode . Pressing hard from the left side of the screen and releasing towards the center of the screen, it was possible to achieve the same result as if the Home button was pressed twice.
This gesture, now does not work after updating to iOS 11, but in an email that Craig Federighi has answered to one of the customers of Apple, has confirmed that they had to remove it but that the gesture will again be available in a future update of iOS 11 Therefore, we now know that it is a temporary omission caused by a technical problem, which Federighi has not wanted to give. Just apologize for the inconvenience.
Although it was the version of iOS that most beta (testing) has had since its introduction until the final release, it is clear that Apple still needs more time to solve problems like this, probably caused by the fact Changing how notifications, lock screen, widgets, and control center are used or displayed all at the same time .
