The security of Face ID on the iPhone X is in doubt, after a "bump" in its presentation

Yesterday, Face ID was one of the big stars of the presentation of the iPhone X. The face recognition system promises to fail 50% less than the traditional Touch ID, ensuring that only 1 in every million unlockings will fail.

Is the Face ID of the iPhone X completely reliable?

Face ID was presented next to the iPhone X, which is the one that introduces it, when removing the Touch ID to unlock the terminal or make your payments. The sensors that have built in the front give the possibility of its performance is spectacular on paper, but when we have the terminal in hand, the thing changes, and this happened in the demo that was made yesterday.

Craig Federighi was responsible for showing "how well" the Face ID technology works, and put it in quotes because at the time of wanting to unlock the iPhone X, it was not unlocked on the first attempt by showing his face to the front camera. This forced to make a terminal change with another that had security to perform this demo. You can see this in this video that we found on YouTube.
The people who noticed this detail have jumped affirming that this technology is not reliable, and that nothing will replace the Touch ID. It even came to claim that this "failure" led to a stock market crash, something that did not actually happen for this reason.
In the video we have placed at the top, we see as Apple's Chief Software Officer to present this failure and see how the iPhone asks for the unlock code, begins to get quite nervous next to the public that we could not help holding the air, although the second attempt already worked, but with another terminal. This may happen because no one has entered the password after restarting the iPhone X, but it does not make sense, because the message that would come would be very different, specific that was due to a reboot.
We do not know exactly what happened. We hope that the most logical explanation is not true, that Face ID lacks accuracy to recognize your face, something that would leave Apple in the bottom of a hole without exit. Although the technologies that were incorporated were very interesting and we hope that in these months that is still for the official launch of this terminal, will finish polishing this "problem", which we have no official statements. The Touch ID also has not failed at all in our terminal, but we hope this technology does not have this trend.
Leave us in the box of comments what you think of this video, and do not forget that we must test it intensely before giving an opinion and a true theory.

I invite you all to fail the Touch ID five times by putting a different finger! You will see how it comes out that your code is required to "Activate" the Touch ID. And it does not necessarily have to be newly restarted.
