Apple is the biggest seller of wearables thanks to the Apple Watch Series 3

If something does not stop growing in the company of the bitten apple is its high turnover. This time Apple has been recognized as the biggest seller of wearables, boosted by the figures of shipments of the Apple Watch Series 3.
According to information published in The Verge , Apple shipped 3.9 million watches, marking its strongest quarter of 2017 so far. Approximately 800 thousand of the shipments were Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE capabilities.

Apple is number one in the wearable market

Since its official presentation at Apple's September keynote , expectations regarding Apple Watch were very high, especially in recognition of its LTE connectivity feature. And although initially, the device had some problems with this feature, these were corrected with a software update a few weeks after its launch, becoming the main driver of Apple's sales.
Although analysts had originally predicted a stronger second half for Apple, driven by the Series 3, Apple with enough watches produced and ready to meet the demand, something similar to the problem of back orders that faced the fans of the iPhone X Of course, as we approach the holiday season, we can only hope that production can match demand.
Behind Apple, they were in second and third place, Xiaomi and Fitbit, sending 3.6 million and 3.5 million wearables, respectively.
The Apple Watch Series 3 has been everything that was expected in the countries where it has arrived, although it is still not the case of Spain. And without a doubt, the ability to make calls and have an Internet connection independently of the iPhone has been a great success.
