KGI reaffirms that the iPhone 2018 will have Gigabit LTE technology

The most recognized analyst of the medium KGI, Ming-Chi Kuo has reaffirmed something that we talked about last week , next year the iPhone that comes will have a 5G compatibility, which will be the technology of the future to achieve a network speed much better to be able to navigate more comfortably with our mobile data.

The iPhone 2018 will feature Gigabit LTE technology

In a note to investors, Apple could adopt faster antenna modules throughout the future generation of the iPhone that we will see next year. In this note they would already be giving data to the providers of how they should be.

Ming-Chi Kuo has stated that the key to achieving a better data transmission speed lies in the design of the antennas , which will give a boost to the speed of LTE transmission that will be incorporated in the iPhone that is presented the year that comes. These new terminals will support the standard 4 × 4 MIMO, when they are currently 2 × 2 MIMOAll this would be accompanied by Gigabit LTE technology that is increasingly common in the network.
All this will alter the supply chain, being currently supplier of 25% of the Career antennas , but which would produce up to 50% of them next year, something that would make it possible to reduce production costs.
This new structure 4 × 4 MIMO will allow better coverage and especially in areas where the signal is not so strong. In addition, those of Cupertino would already be working on the 5G support that we would soon see implemented, although this will depend on the telephone companies.

But it is obvious that companies are already working intensively on this, where Apple would be seeing with Intel the production of the new modems, leaving Qualcomm aside.
