OpenBank is already compatible with Apple Pay in Spain

The Banco Santander subsidiary, OpenBank , is already compatible with the Apple Pay payment system .
From this moment, you can add your credit or debit card and start paying with Apple's payment system.
OpenBank is characterized by having a virtual office, where all the procedures are carried out online . With the advantage of practically not having commissions.

New financial entity for Apple Pay

OpenBank Apple Pay
This year, several banking entities are being added to Apple Pay , where more and more customers have the opportunity to make purchases with this payment method.
OpenBank already announced that it was preparing to be able to operate with Apple Pay, just a few weeks ago we commented on NewCydiaTweaks, since today it is enabled for all customers.
The activation process is really simple, we only need to open the Wallet application from our iPhone and scan our card with the camera or directly add the data manually.
Users who have an iPhone X, may use Face ID as a security method. In iPhone 8 and earlier, we have to keep pressing the Touch ID to confirm our purchases.
If we choose the Apple Watch , we simply have to press the side button a couple of times to activate our OpenBank card, in a few seconds, it will show us a message that will tell us to put the Apple Watch near the reader with Contactless technology .
With OpenBank, there are already 8 financial entities that operate in Spain with Apple Pay, it is expected that soon BBVA will do so, just when the exclusivity with Android Pay ends.
If you are an OpenBank customer , you can now set up your card and enjoy Apple Pay in your purchases both physical and online stores that allow this payment method.
