The best selling mobile in the world is an iPhone, but it's not what you think

Samsung continues to lead the top of the top five smart phone providers in the world, followed by Apple and Huawei. According to Canalys, it is not the iPhone 8 or the iPhone 8 Plus, launched last September, the TOP terminals. It is the fantastic iPhone 7 the best-selling model in the world with more than 13 million units billed .
The Apple iPhone 6s (7.9 million sold) is closely followed by the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime with 7.8 million units sold in the last quarter. OPPO ranked fourth and fifth among the best sellers in the world with its A57 and R11 of 7.8 million and 7.2 million units respectively. However, the last iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus could not reach the list of the top five , since both combined 11.8 million, less than the iPhone 7, which exceeded 14 million in the first quarter.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus with 6.3 million units surpasses the iPhone 8 with only 5.4 million units sold in the first quarter. This is also the first time that a Plus variant sells more than its younger brother in a single quarter. Turning to the general information, Samsung continues to top the list with more than 82.8 million units in the third quarter , representing a growth of 8.2% compared to the third quarter of 2016.
The Samsung J series had an exceptional performance in India and the Middle East and Samsung's new flagship; the Galaxy Note 8 made a solid 4.4 million units . Following Samsung on the list is Apple with 46.7 million units worldwide and growth of 2.6% compared to the third quarter of 2016. Huawei, OPPO and Xiaomi followed the list with 3.1 million, 30 million and 28 million on the list of the top five smart phone providers.
