Thinner cameras that collect more light in the iPhone of 2018

One of the aspects in which the iPhone increasingly have it more and more difficult is in the camera. His competition is being really fierce in terms of image capture quality, and the iPhone is struggling to maintain its position as one of the best cameras on a smartphone. However, the big difference with respect to the other options, is that the simplicity of the iPhone is unrivaled, both for the good, as for the bad.
Of course, the main problem that each and every one of the manufacturers have now is the size of the sensors of their cameras, which although they try to hide by increasing the thickness of their terminals, or with beautiful decorations, it is still a really annoying defect . However, it seems that Apple has managed to get a technology that would allow them to improve not only the quality of their camera, but also the size of the sensor. Basically, Apple wants to kill two birds with one stone.

Soon it will be time to return to the completely flat backs

According to TechCrunch , those from Cupertino have bought the company InVisage Technologies, a startup that was developing a new type of camera sensor called QuantumFilm. With this new technology, they ensure improvements in the lighting of the photos in any situation with a smaller camera. At this point, Apple should be able to integrate this technology into their next phone, but of course, everything is pure speculation.
The issue is, they are not the only ones who want to improve the camera of their terminals, and probably, the other manufacturers will manage to achieve, if not improve the quality of the iPhone even before Apple presents a new version. Next year, they will not give DxOMark employees a break.
