Apple has a new work of art: the iPhone 5s

All Apple users are clear on something: the iPhone 5s is probably the best smartphone created by the company. Of course it is not the same as before, but his legacy prevails, and so they let us know when they launched the iPhone SE.
Now, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has decided to honor Apple's beloved terminal in the best way: by making it part of its museum . Here we explain why!
The first mobile
The iPhone 5s will also be the first mobile phone to be exhibited in this museum. And although the device was a real beast in its time, this is not why they decided to include it among the objects to be exhibited.
The reason behind all this is that, thanks to an iPhone 5s - or multiple, rather - Sean Baker managed to record the independent film Tangerine , a story that won the hearts of many at the Sundance festival, and also, he was able to recover seven times the budget used to record it.

Movie made on iPhone

To edit the movie Sean use Filmic Pro , an application of 8 dollars that allows you to edit video, and apparently, in a pretty good way. Baker decided to record using an iPhone 5s because in addition to using less equipment, it did not take too much knowledge, which facilitated the process. On the other hand, it was much cheaper than using conventional cameras.
This film tells the story of a transgender sex worker whose boyfriend has been cheating on her. In this video, the director relives the scenes by visiting the places where they were recorded.
It is impressive to see how much mobile terminals have advanced in recent years. When would we have imagined that we could record a movie using our phone? The times they Are a changing.
It is not the first time that a movie is recorded using an iPhone. Director Malik Bendjelloul did it in his Oscar-winning film "Searching for Sugar Man."
