Apple will produce a science-fiction series from the creator of Battlestar Galactica

Little by little, Apple is starting to create a catalog of original content, intended for that video on demand service, Netflix style , which the Cupertino company plans to launch in the near future.
This time we have learned, thanks to an article published in Deadline , that Apple has given the green light for the production of a science fiction series that, at the moment, has no title.
The person in charge of developing the project is Ronald D. Moore , who is the showrunner of Outlander , and has previously worked on series such as Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica .
The series will take place in a world in which the global space race never ended. Moore is the creator of the series, and will write his scripts along with Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. The three will also work as executive producers, along with Maril Davis, of Moore's production company, Tall Ship Productions.

Apple, little by little, is doing with a team of professionals who will work to create original content, and which is headed by Jamie Ehrlicht and Zack Van Amburg , Sony Television. A few months ago we learned that the Cupertino company had reached an agreement with Steven Spielberg to create a modern version of the legendary eighties anthology series, Amazing Stories . In addition, Apple has also bought the rights to produce a new drama starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon .
Apple has not yet made any official announcement about the original content it is producing since Ehrlicht and Van Amburg joined the company a few months ago. For now, all the series are still in the early stages of their production, so we will surely hear much more as the months go by, since they are most likely to be released in 2019.
