Goodbye Batterygate: slowing down your iPhone will soon be an iOS option

Apple seems to be changing its mind about how it lets users interact with their device. Everyone knows that Cupertino have a fairly closed system, in which the freedom that is given to the user is considerably lower than the view in the competition terminals.
But it seems that they are determined to do things right, so in future versions of iOS you will be able to activate or deactivate performance management on any of your iOS devices. Keep reading that here we tell you everything!
Greater freedom of choice
Tim Cook, the head of Apple, said that this option will be available in the settings menu of your devices in one of the next versions of the mobile operating system. And, after everything that fell, Apple seems to have reconsidered the way they communicate with their users.
Tim Cook, moreover, has deeply apologized for wrongly communicating with consumers. However, he adds that they probably were not paying due attention, since according to them, this information had already been said long ago.

For the next month

The CEO of Apple has not limited to drop this news, but also has given us a specific date in which this option will be available on all iPhone with iOS 11. It will be precisely in the beta of iOS 11.3 , which will be launched within about a month. In it we will be able to find the option to deactivate or not the fall in performance in favor of a longer useful life.
According to Apple, this function was added with the user in mind . That if we needed to make an emergency call, or if we needed to capture something urgently with the camera of our mobile, we could do it without affecting the life of our terminal.
We appreciate that Apple has given its arm to twist and now allows us to activate or deactivate an option that, after all, directly affects the consumer experience. This update will probably be available to everyone in March , since its public beta will be launched in the month of February.
