Samsung denies that it was copied from Apple with its new Emoji AR

Yesterday Samsung presented its new bet to the world: the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 +, with interesting new features such as an improved camera despite presenting a continuous design. Another of its novelties are the Emojis AR, something that has reminded us a lot of the Animojis of the iPhone X , something that has had to deny Samsung today.

Has Samsung plagiarized Apple's Animojis?

Today DJ Koh has given an interview today in  The Wall Street Journal after yesterday's presentation and of course, has been asked about the great similarity between the Animojis and the new Emojis that have incorporated into their new device that is already under the everyone's look
Animojis iOS 11.3
This question has not been very good, since you have had to deny all these accusations. If it is true that it is not the first time that Samsung is accused of plagiarizing Apple in some of its facets , then the question was logical.
According to Koh they have followed their road map, having in their plans the launching of these new Emoji so they have not fixed at all in the Cupertino arguing that their approach is totally different,  although for me they follow a quite similar approach.
If it is true that these new Samsung Emojis are not identical to Apple, basically because they scan your face and you make an Avatar that can be shared in any application , not being limited to some specific apps like the iPhone X .
In addition, the first people who have been able to try them, believe that it is not as successful as the Animojis, especially in the topic of facial expressions, which are not as good as those offered by the iPhone X technologies.
In any case we must wait to make a real comparison in our hands to see if they are similar or not, and determines which of the two works best.
