The latest beta of macOS 10.13.4 restricts access to external graphics cards

This week we received the latest beta of macOS 10.13.4 without finding many improvements, but now, we have learned that this new beta restricts access to graphics cards, at least to the newer Mac.
The latest macOS operating system came with the novelty of being able to use external graphics cards with greater integration. Something that was possible before, but with High Sierra comes a better integration.
This restriction is only applied to last generation Mac computers, where they take advantage of the Thunderbolt 3 connection , according to Macgeneration.

External graphics cards on Mac

The novelty of incorporating external graphics cards to our Mac, we saw in the last WWDC 17, where Apple introduced macOS High Sierra . Thanks to the latest operating system, we have the ability to connect a graphics card by Thunderbolt 3 with greater integration.
Thanks to this, the developers could start with their ARKit projects , where Apple gave them a tower with a graphics card with AMD's medium high features to the developers present.
Connecting a graphics card to a Mac is nothing new, long before Apple announced it in WWDC 17, we could find external boxes that we used to connect, but since last year, Apple has put effort in this matter.
Although this option is still in beta since its launch in the fall of last year, we could see the final version in the spring, as announced by Apple.

One of the most ambitious external graphics cards compatible with Mac, we find it in the manufacturer NVIDIA, with its TITAN Xp . Among its features we find 12 GB of GDDR5X memory and 12 teraflops of power.
To give us an idea of the beast that is this graphics card compatible with the Mac, which incorporates the latest Microsoft Xbox has 6 teraflops. In the case of the PS4 Pro, it would go down to 4.20 teraflops.
Of course, equip our Mac with a beast as the external graphics card NVIDIA would cost approximately 1,300 euros , without the external box.
